The Casino San Clemente was designed in emulation of the casino on Catalina Island. It opened in 1937 and first featured an orchestra, live radio broadcasts, and the occasional Hollywood celebrity. The Casino took off from there and soon became one of Southern California鈥檚 concert hot-spots, with the likes of Judy Garland crooning onstage and surfer stomp dances filling the weekends with fun. The Casino鈥檚 colorful past includes Coast Guard occupation during wartime and 7 ongoing years of dinner theater. In 2010, the venue was completely restored and renewed according to its original design, architecture, and embellishments. Since then, it has been open to the public for special event bookings of all kinds.
This richly historical venue offers 5 spaces in which to host your next affair: the Grand Ballroom, the Rock Garden, the West Wing, the Patio of the Stars, and the Bride鈥檚 Room (used as either a bridal retreat or lounge). Together, the Grand Ballroom and the West Wing can accommodate up to 375 guests. The Patio of the Stars is a perfect outside ceremony location, and offers a romantic fireplace that can warm up your guests during cocktail hour in the winter, or act as a ceremony backdrop in the summer time.
The Casino鈥檚 style and d茅cor is both modern and reminiscent of the era in which it was first built. The Spanish-inspired white walls, old brick, and cast-iron chandeliers create a nostalgic aura. While each room is unique, all of them are cohesively decorated and designed, ensuring that your special event is as visually refined as it is memorable.
