Springtime Wedding at The Estate on Second
Ryan suited up and Alexis slipped into her heels at The Estate on Second. The couple was ready for their big day, but first, their first look. Ryan met Alexis upstairs and they stood back to back, hand in hand and awaited the signal to turn around. On the count of three, the bride and groom turned to see each other. An emotional exchange of compliments was shared, and a sweet hug concluded the intimate moment. Alexis and Ryan then headed outside for group photos with their bridal party before the ceremony.
Guests signed the bride and groom鈥檚 Jenga guest book blocks and headed into the Crystal Ballroom. Vibrant flowers decorated the center Palladian window and flickering candles marked the back of the aisle. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances. Together at the head of the aisle in front of all their family and friends, Ryan and Alexis read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. The crowd cheered as the newlyweds made their exit into cocktail hour.
Belle Collins and Manhattan Martini signature cocktails were being poured at the bar while Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls were tray passed. Guests mixed and mingled while the newlyweds ventured out with their photographer around downtown. The bride and groom posed for photos together as husband and wife, then headed back to The Estate for reception.
A seating chart helped guests find their assigned tables back inside the Crystal Ballroom where dinner was soon to be served. Tables were decorated with candles and fresh floral centerpieces and glasses of champagne awaited everyone. Alexis and Ryan made their grand entrance that transitioned into their first dance, then took a seat at the sweetheart table. Dinner was served and friends and family shared toasts. Chicken Santorini or Cabernet Braised Short Ribs with Oven Roasted Rainbow Fingerling Potatoes and Roasted Broccolini with Wild Cherry Salad filled guests鈥 plates and glasses filled with bubbly clinked in the air. The meal was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Sierra. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their 3-tiered wedding cake and served slices to guests along with Cookie and Milk Shots. The evening ended with guests showing off their best moves out on the dance floor and wishing the bride and groom well before heading home.
