Something Blue Wedding at the Rose Center
Ryann finished buttoning up the back of her lace wedding gown in the bridal suite at the Rose Center while her bridal party anxiously waited outside. With veil combed into her curls, she stepped outside the suite doors as her bridal pasty gasped in excitement. It was a first look to remember. Compliments showered the bride as she hugged everyone in the friend circle. Each member of the bridal party was dressed in navy and held matching blue and white bouquets as they posed together for group pictures, then the groom, Zach, and his groomsmen did the same. Zach was dressed in a tan suit and his groomsmen wore navy to match the rest of the party. Once the photographer was done with pre-ceremony photos, the wedding party lined up outside.
A welcome sign and table met guests at the entrance of the courtyard upon arrival. Everyone signed Ryann and Zach鈥檚 guest book then took a seat facing the stage where a blue and white draped backdrop stood. As soon as everyone had arrived, Zach made his entrance followed by the rest of the bridesmaids and groomsmen and ending with Ryann. Zach took off his sunglasses to make sure he got a clear view of his beautiful bride walking down the aisle, but then put them back on since they were together on stage. In front of family and friends, Ryann and Zach recited traditional vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the deal with an end of ceremony kiss.
Competitive games of Connect $, Jenga, and cornhole began during cocktail hour in the courtyard while Gloria鈥檚 Caramelized Bacon Wrapped Franks and Crab Cakes were tray passed to hungry guests. The bar opened and was serving up beer, wine, and the newlyweds signature cocktails, an Old Fashioned and Moscow Mule. The bride and groom snuck away momentarily for a few pictures together, but quickly rejoined the party to make their rounds and thank their guests before dinner. Once tables were set inside, everyone was invited to take a seat for the reception.
The ceremony backdrop moved inside behind the sweetheart table and flowers, candles, and lanterns decorated the floor and tabletop. Gold vases were filled with white flowers and greenery and matching gold chargers were topped with white plates and napkins. Once everyone had found their assigned seats, Ryann and Zach danced their way inside and made their grand entrance. Toasts were made, then dinner was served. BBQ Boneless Chicken, Sliced Beef Brisket, Creamy Macaroni & Cheese, Creamed Corn, and Southern Chopped Salad was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Sierra, during their planning process. Rave reviews were shared around each table as plated were cleared away. Up next, dessert was unveiled! Guests were invited to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station filled with an assortment of Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. After everyone had eaten their fill, the bride and groom hit the dance floor and were soon surrounded by all their guests. The rest of the evening was full of dance moves and posing in front of the camera at the photo booth.
