Something Blue at The Estate on Second
Upstairs at The Estate on Second, Ian stood with his back facing Jasmine as she glided across the room for their first look, a moment they had been anxiously awaiting. With emotions built up, Ian turned around to see his beautiful bride and the two couldn鈥檛 hold back tears as they reached for a hug to ease the tension. While spinning around in her lacy dress, Jasmine and Ian complimented one another, laughed, and let go of all their nerves before joining their wedding party just outside the venue. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were all dressed in blue and greeted the bride and groom with welcoming cheers. Bouquets of white and green were held by the girls and matching boutonnieres were worn by the guys as the group paraded around the venue posing for photos. Just as pictures wrapped up, guests began to arrive.
A welcome sign ushered guests into the Crystal Ballroom where they took a seat on either side of the aisle. Sparkling chandeliers hung above and flowers and greenery decorated below. As soon as all the seats were taken, Ian made his entrance followed by the rest of the wedding party and ending with Jasmine. In front of all their closest friends and family, the bride and groom exchanged handwritten vows that brought tears to everyone鈥檚 faces. A sweet kiss sealed the deal and the couple was pronounced husband and wife. Everyone cheered as the newlyweds exited the ceremony and made their way to cocktail hour.
Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Thai Chicken Spring Rolls, and Brioche Box hors d鈥檕euvres were being tray passed while drinks were flowing from the bar. Jasmine and Ian鈥檚 signature cocktails, a Paloma and Kentucky Mule, were popular picks next to beer and wine. The newlyweds quickly snuck away for some photos before returning to end cocktail hour with their guests. The bride and groom made their rounds thanking everyone for coming and catching up on the latest with friends before heading back into the Crystal Ballroom for the reception.
Fresh floral arrangements decorated tabletops and flickering candles set the romantic scene. A little something blue was incorporated in the table runners and napkins to tie together the theme. Pumped up by the music, Ian and Jasmine made their grand entrance into the ballroom and to their sweetheart table as everyone stood and clapped. 听 A dinner of Zucchini Lime Chicken, Tri-Tip Catvery, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Green Beans, and Tangerine Pecan Salad was served next. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Arielle. During dinner, toasts were made by friends and family that left everyone laughing from the shared memories, then the bride and groom stood for their first dance. The newlyweds swayed in the center of the room as guests watched with loving eyes and just as their song was about to end, all the bridesmaids and groomsmen rushed the dance floor joining Jasmine and Ian. The excitement got everyone on their feet to show off their best moves. For those who preferred keeping the dancing to a minimum, a photo booth with fun props added an exciting attraction to the night. In the midst of all the commotion, a 3-tier white cake with strawberry creme filling and whipped cream icing was cut and served. The dancing continued well into the evening and guests slowly said their goodbyes to the bride and groom. The evening ended with Jasmine and Ian鈥檚 closest friends still standing - well, dancing - by their sides.
