Romantic Peach Wedding at Hangar 21 South
Caitie made her way downstairs, through her adoring bridesmaids, and into the hangar of Hangar 21 South for her first look with Will. A brush of the shoulder signaled Will to turn around, and his eyes were met with immediate happy tears. The couple stood together, laughing, crying, and sharing sweet compliments in an intimate moment, then headed to the side patio to join their wedding party for photos.
The bridesmaids were dressed in rust-colored silk dresses and the groomsmen were suited up in black with fresh floral bouquets and boutonnieres completing their looks. Together, the group smiled for the camera and cheered creating lasting memories for years to come. After pictures, the wedding party lined up for ceremony and guests began arriving.
Guests signed Will and Caitie鈥檚 guest book and found their seats. Peach, rust, and ivory floral arrangements marked the back of the aisle and matching flowers decorated the stage. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Caitie arm in arm with her parents. In front of all their closest friends and family, Will and Caitie read personalized vows, broke bread, exchanged rings, and shared a kiss to conclude the ceremony.
Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes were tray passed around the tarmac while a Cheese Tray with an assortment of Sliced Brie, Gouda, Smoked Gouda, Port Wine & Sage Derby, Pepper Jack, Havarti and Mustard Seed Ale and Charcuterie Tray with salami, prosciutto, mortadella, European and domestic cheeses, olives, mixed nuts, and dried apricots with fig jam, sliced baguettes and crackers drew guests to their display tables to enjoy. To wash it all down, the bar was serving up the newlywed鈥檚 signature cocktails, an Old Fashioned and Mojito, along with beer and wine. While guests mixed and mingled, Caitie and Will took off on their flight over Orange County, touching down just in time for reception.
The hangar doors opened revealing a magical setup inside. Sparkling lights draped from the ceiling to the floor and tables were topped with floral-filled bud vases and flickering candles. An uproar of cheering spread throughout the crowd as Will and Caitie exited the helicopter and made their grand entrance onto the dance floor where they shared their first dance. Afterwards, everyone took a seat inside for dinner. Roasted Golden Beet Salad was served first followed by Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Lemon & Thyme Glazed Chicken Breast with Roasted Broccolini and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Lauren. While everyone ate, family and friends stood and shared toasts. The last toast was shared by the newlyweds. They thanked everyone for coming to celebrate their love and invited guests to enjoy a slice of cake and meet them out on the dance floor. The evening ended with many shared dances, plenty of selfies, and many well wishes for Caitie and Will.
