Pastel and Neutral Hangar 21 South Wedding
The tarmac was set at Hangar 21 South for Elizabeth and Auvied鈥檚 wedding. After signing their well wishes, guests took a seat on either side of the aisle. Two floral pillars with a mixture of rust and white flowers stood tall as the ceremony backdrop and matching arrangements sprouted up next to rows of ghost chairs. As soon as everyone was settled, the wedding party made their entrances. Auvied started the processional, then followed groomsmen dressed in black and bridesmaids dressed in pastels, and lastly, Elizabeth in her white dress. Together in front of their family and friends, Elizabeth and Auvied read personal vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Drinks were enjoyed during cocktail hour on the side patio and Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Crab Cakes, and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts were tray passed to hungry guests. A modern lounge complete with sofa, arm chairs, clear coffee table and rug made a comfortable place for guests to kick up their feet. While everyone mixed and mingled, the newlyweds posed for fun photos on the tarmac with their photographer, then enjoyed their helicopter flight. Upon their return, guests were seated for dinner.
A mirrored seating chart helped guests find their assigned seats inside the hangar and on the tarmac for reception. Tables were topped with neutral florals, some in low bud vases, and others atop tall stands. Greenery hung from the ceiling over the white dance floor and the ceremony backdrop was repurposed behind the sweetheart table. As soon as guests saw the helicopter landing, they ushered the bride and groom into the hangar with an uproar of cheers. Elizabeth and Auvied shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table for toasts. Dinner was served just as speeches began. Plates filled with Zucchini Lime Chicken, Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Caesar Salad, and Grilled Marinated Vegetables. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Sierra. Glasses clinked in the air as each speech ended, then it was time for dessert. Guests enjoyed offerings from our Classic Dessert Station including French Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, and French Apple Tarts, then hit the dance floor. One outfit change later (for Elizabeth), and the newlyweds were pumping up the crowd with fog cannons. The evening ended with everyone showing off their best moves and dancing around the bride and groom sharing all the good vibes.
