Modern White Wedding at The Estate on Second
White pillars topped with white hydrangea and rose arrangements stood on both sides of The Estate鈥檚 center Palladian window inside the Crystal Ballroom where Paula and Vincent would soon tie the knot. While vendors completed the d茅cor setup, Vincent and his groomsmen suited up downstairs and Paula and her bridesmaids changed into their dresses upstairs. Each bridesmaid wore a sparkling taupe dress and the bride stood out in a crepe, off-the-shoulder dress with lace details. All the girls held bouquets of roses that matched the guy鈥檚 boutonnieres. Since the bride and groom wanted their first look to be down the aisle, both groups wandered around the inside and outside of the venue separately posing for photos so they wouldn鈥檛 cross paths and ruin the surprise. Before long, guests began arriving and the wedding party lined up inside.
Guests signed Paula and Vincent鈥檚 guestbook, snapped a selfie, then took a seat inside the Crystal Ballroom. Candles and white flower petals lined the aisle leading up to the white pillar ceremony d茅cor. Once everyone had arrived and taken a seat, processional music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances ending with Paula. Since it was their first time seeing each other that day, Paula and Vincent shared an emotional first look down the aisle. Once standing together, the bride and groom shared handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a sweet kiss. The crowd stood and cheered as the newlyweds exited into cocktail hour.
Now that the ceremony had concluded, the entire wedding party got together outside the venue for group photos. Contagious laughs could be heard all around while the newlyweds made lasting memories with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Meanwhile, guests enjoyed Gloria鈥檚 Caramelized Bacon Wrapped Franks and Crab Cakes with Cajun Remoulade hors d鈥檕euvres along with the bride and groom鈥檚 signature cocktails, a Skinny Margarita and Old Fashioned. The wedding party eventually joined the rest of the guests inside for the end of cocktail hour. Everyone mixed and mingled, then checked the seating chart to find their assigned tables for dinner.
Back inside the Crystal Ballroom, tables were draped in white linen and topped with centerpieces filled with roses and baby鈥檚 breath. Floating candles, greenery, custom menus, and table numbers completed the tabletop d茅cor. After checking the mirrored seating chart, everyone took their seat to await the bride and groom. The music pumped up the crowd and soon everyone was on their feet for Paula and Vincent鈥檚 grand entrance. The bride and groom made their way through family and friends to their sweetheart table at the front of the ballroom, then shared their first dance as husband and wife. Afterwards, dinner was served. BBQ Boneless Chicken, Sliced Beef Brisket, Macaroni & Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, and Southern Chopped Salad made up the menu selected by Paula and Vincent with help from our Event Specialist, Arielle, during their planning process. After each plate was filled, toasts were made. Friends and family stood, shared speeches, and clinked glasses to honor the newlyweds as everyone enjoyed dinner. Once toasts ended, the bride and groom cut into their red velvet cake, tossed the bouquet and garter, and invited their guests to indulge in some dessert. Before hitting the dance floor, guests grabbed a donut off the donut wall, then proceeded to get their groove on. After all the fun traditions and activities, guests said their goodbyes and wished the newlyweds well before heading home.
