Modern Meets Organic Neutral Wedding at Hangar 21 South
Mike and Hannah met on the tarmac of Hangar 21 South to kick off their wedding day with a first look. A tap of the shoulder turned Mike around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a lace applique wedding gown. Huge smiles filled both their faces and sweet compliments were exchanged, then the couple was joined by their bridesmaids and groomsmen for group photos. The bridesmaids were dressed in mauve and the groomsmen wore black. Together the wedding party smiled for the camera creating unforgettable real time and photo memories. After pictures, the group lined up for ceremony.
Guests arrived, signed Hannah and Mike鈥檚 guest book, then took a seat. A tall arbor covered in greenery, dried palms, and peach and light pink roses marked centerstage and matching floral arrangements lined both sides of the aisle. As soon as everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances serenaded by live music. An emotional aisle walk brought Hannah to Mike on stage. Together in front of all their closest friends and family, the couple read. Personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Guests headed into the hangar for cocktail hour where Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls, Roasted Red Cherry Tomato Bruschetta, and Charcuterie awaited them. To wash it all down, the bar was serving up the newlywed鈥檚 signature drinks, an Old Fashioned and Lemon Drop Martini. Two stylish lounge spaces provided guests a place to sit back and relax until dinner and sparkling chandeliers intermingled with flowing tan fabric hanging from the ceiling above. While everyone mixed and mingled, the bride and groom posed for golden hour photos on the tarmac and took off on their flight over Orange County. Upon their return, it was time for reception.
Small planes and helicopters added to the already incredible reception d茅cor on the tarmac. 听Wooden farm tables and bone velvet draped tables were topped with taupe candlesticks, travertine table numbers, and floral centerpieces. Everyone found their assigned tables and took a seat. The newlyweds made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. The couple thanked all their guests for coming, then the dinner stations opened. A French Fry Station, Street Taco Station with Pollo Asada Tacos and Al Pastor Tacos, Tri-Tip Carvery, Melt Bar with Birria Melts and Caprese Melts, Pear and Walnut Salad, and Ensalada Las Mesas were on the menu. With help from our event specialist Casey, Hannah and Mike selected the special meal offerings during their planning process. Guests filled their plates and listened to the wedding party share toasts. After dinner, the bride and groom cut into their wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in some for themselves. Carrot cake slices were tray passed, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Salted Caramel Peanut Butter Macarons, and Mango Passion Fruit Macarons were readily available, and our Kouign Amann dessert station began caramelizing the tops of our signature pastries. Energized from dinner and dessert, everyone made their way to the dance floor. The evening ended with guests posing for pictures at the photo booth bus to take with them treasured keepsakes and showing off their best moves with the bride and groom.
