Mid-Century Modern Wedding at Forme Los Angeles

Andrea and her bridesmaids got ready in the Sunburst Suite upstairs while Brandon and his groomsmen suited up downstairs in the Sidecar Suite at Forme. To have a little fun and ease the morning tension, one of Brandon鈥檚 groomsmen snuck upstairs to dress up as the bride. Wearing a ruffly, vintage dress, the groomsman headed back downstairs for a 鈥榝irst look鈥 with Brandon. With a tap of the shoulder, the groom turned around to see his best friend standing before him in a white dress. Laughter was shared and the wedding morning anxiety all washed away. The groomsman quickly changed into his suit to match the rest of the guys, and together they all cracked open a beer and shared a toast. While the guys were celebrating, the girls just finished getting ready and began lining up for ceremony.

Guests arrived in Forme鈥檚 courtyard and took a selfie for Andrea and Brandon鈥檚 guestbook before taking a seat. A white aisle runner divided rows of ghost chairs facing Forme鈥檚 sliding glass door and white outdoor wall. Two tall floral installs framed in the ceremony space where the bride and groom would soon be standing, and smaller floral arrangements lined the aisle. Once everyone arrived, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Andrea. Everyone stood as she made her way to Brandon at the head of the aisle. Sweet smiles were exchanged, then everyone took a seat for vows. In front of family and friends, Andrea and Brandon recited traditional vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. Guests cheered as the newlyweds exited the ceremony into cocktail hour.

Tables were topped with pampas grass and rust-colored flowers for a pop of color during cocktail hour. While guests mixed and mingled, the bar was serving the bride and groom鈥檚 signature cocktails, a Mojito and Paloma. Meanwhile, Brandon and Andrea were posing for photos with their bridesmaids who wore burnt orange dresses, and groomsmen dressed in navy. As soon as group pictures were done, the bridal party joined in on cocktail hour, but the newlyweds stayed together photos of just them two. From the green walls to the wooden fencing, Andrea and Brandon made the most of their time together before heading back to join their guests for the reception.

Guests grabbed their table cards and headed inside for dinner. Tables were draped in white linen and centerpieces of burnt orange, peach, pink and white flowers added vibrant pops of color across the reception space. Once everyone was seated, the bride and groom made their grand entrance into their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Champagne toasts were shared by family and friends and glasses clinked in the air. An emotional rollercoaster of laughs and tears made each speech unforgettable. Afterwards, each table was excused for dinner. A Salad Station with Mexican Caesar Salad and Pear and Walnut Salad, Mac and Cheese Station, Street Taco Station with Barbacoa Shredded Beef Tacos and Pollo Asado Tacos, and Paella Station were spread out across the venue for everyone to enjoy and watch as our chef鈥檚 cooked their meals. Rave food reviews were shared at each table and as dinner ended, the newlyweds cut into their two-tiered almond cake with cappuccino cr猫me filling to share with guests. Once full from dinner and dessert, everyone got up and hit the dance floor with the bride and groom. Dances were shared and photos were captured at the photo booth before guests wished Brandon and Andrea well and headed home.
