Colorful Pastel Wedding with Nothing but Good Vibes at Grand Gimeno
With plenty of good vibes flowing, Hailey, Rory, and their wedding party got ready inside Grand Gimeno鈥檚 Parlor and Powder Room for the big day ahead. As soon as her dress was zipped up, Hailey was out the door heading for the breezeway to join Rory for their first look. On the count of three, Rory turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him and happy tears filled both their eyes. Sweet compliments were exchanged while the wedding party watched in awe from the sidelines, then later joined them for group photos before lining up for the ceremony.
Guests entered the Olive Grove, signed the bride and groom鈥檚 vinyl record guest book, grabbed champagne, and took a seat. Pastel floral arrangements marked the front and back of the aisle and petals were sprinkled in between. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Hailey. In front of their best friends and loving family, Rory and Hailey read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a celebratory kiss.
For cocktail hour, the pizza oven was pumping out Wood-Fired Alfredo Bianca and Mediterranean Vegetable Pizzas while tray passed Chicken Jalapeno Empanadas and Mini Al Pastor Tacos made their rounds to hungry guests. Beer, wine, and cocktails were served at the bar including the newlywed鈥檚 signature drinks, an Aperol Spritz and Italian Margarita. A permanent jewelry vendor and portrait artist offered extra entertainment zapping gold and silver chains onto guests鈥 wrists and drawing couples as take-home gifts. Everyone mixed and mingled while the bride and groom were off posing for newlywed romantics as husband and wife. Upon their return, it was time to head inside for reception.
Inside, tables were topped with funky, colorful vases filled with pastel flowers and an accent of something blue made an appearance. Hailey and Rory made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, cut their wedding cake, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared while dinner was served. Southwest Chicken and Chipotle Braised Short Ribs with Mexican Caesar Salad, Cheese Enchiladas, Tortilla Chips and Salsa, and Refried Beans filled guests鈥 plates. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. After dinner, the dance floor immediately filled with people. Sunglasses were passed around and everyone showed off their best moves. While guests were entertaining themselves inside, Rory and Hailey snuck away from the crowd for a pizza snack break and photos to remember the moment. At the very end of the night, guests formed a tunnel outside and cheered on the newlyweds as they made their exit into their happily ever after.
